The Alliance of Dictators

OVERVIEW

The Alliance of Dictators is a region founded on the principles of each national leader having the right to do whatever he/she damn well pleases in their own country, and if this means oppressing the masses and cutting down on civil rights, so be it!. The region has its roots in a number of earlier regions, including 'Dictatorship' (and later 'New Dictatorship'), as well as Slovitopia's 'Alliance of Dictators', before a merger eventually created the modern Alliance. Other large and small dictatorial regions (e.g. The Bloodmoon Empire) have sinced joined our ranks. DICTATORIAL POLICY

Nations in The Alliance of Dictators (AOD) are free to run their own affairs as they see fit, although a compulsory requirement is for the existence of a 'dictatorial' style government, with a zero-tolerance policy being displayed towards democracies, and regular checks purging and democratic nations from the AOD's ranks. As a result, the following types of nations are welcoem in the AOD:

Psychotic Dictatorship Corrupt Dictatorship Benevolent Dictatorship Corporate Police State Compulsory Consumerist State Iron Fist Consumerists Libertarian Police State Father Knows Best State Iron Fist Socialists (In the case of Antarctallica, permission has been granted to an Authoritatian Democracy)

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

Though the AOD is composed of individual dictators who govern their own affairs, a region of the size of the AOD naturally requires some maintenance, and so a Supreme Council exists in order to run internal affairs and enhance the region's reputation abroad. The current positions and those holding them are as follows:

Founder: Slovitopia (departed, but has donated his nation to New Dictator to maintain security

Leader, Head of Internal Affairs: Lamvia Terra

Former Leader: New Dictator (Currently in possession of Slovitopia, although is due to handover power to Lamvia Terra in the future)

Foreign Minister (Responsible for peacetime missions abroad and strengthening of ties with other regions: Kudlastan

Minister of War and General of the Legion: Legendary Rock Stars

Minister of Territory (in control of the regional map): Tathren

Minister of Internal Security: Baltgor

UN Delegate and Powerless Figurehead: Smudgeland

Esteemed and Respected Crazy Dictator: Harrylandia

MILITARY

The AOD has in the past lent its assistance to raider causes throughout NationStates, with nations such as Slovitopia, Baltgor and New Dictator being experienced in the arts of raiding, leading to the creation of the AOD's Legion under strict discipline (broken only once in the case of the impetuous actions of Osorno). Although the AOD is not currently engaged in any military conflicts, it has raides the following regions in the past:

The Unquencheable Thirst of Jad: Easily seized, although the sheer boredom of the region eventually led to its abandonment.

Dictator: As a small region of dictators, this was recognised as a good target in order to encourage recruitment, and so was given a new World Factbook entry to encourage newcomers, with some success.

Minnesota: An unsuccessful raid led by Slovitopia.

In addition, nations from the AOD have contributed to other united radier operations, most notably those of the DEN.
