Overview
The Dominion of The Aryana is a very large, safe nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 50 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.
The government is notorious for leaving citizens with almost nothing from their inheritance, phone taps are frequently carried out by the police, citizens are regularly arrested in queues for 'loitering', and torture is commonly used to extract information from suspected criminals. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. The Aryana's national animal is the Giant Grizzly bear, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the thulmark.

The Aryana is a large dominion of lush forests and mountain ranges.
Government and laws
The national socialist meritocracy government of The Aryana consists of a parliament of supreme rulers, brought into power based on intelligence and wisdom. They wear loose fitting tunics of purple, emblazoned with runes and a 24 karat gold threaded iron cross as a centerpiece for their outfits. The sight of them on the streets are very distinguishable and garner respect and national socialist salutes from civilians. Petty drug and traffic laws are abolished, marijuana and other safe beneficial drugs like mushrooms and peyote, are legal and heavily taxed to avoid abuse. Jewing the people out of their hard earned money for ridiculous offenses has been outlawed and as a result, the people work harder and more efficiently, which in the end, brings in more money for the state. Criminals (ie murderers, rapists, untermensche) are ruthlessly exterminated. Gladatorial games are held in Wotansstadt Arena on holidays where thousands of criminals fight to the death using brutal implements of pain and death. Foreign spies and terrorists are commonly seen crucified and lining the roads to major cities as commoners throw rocks and bottles at the bodies while singing nationalist songs and tales of the Aryana's glorious leadership. The eugenics program is a national priority, run by the state and heavily funded, being that the future and well being of the nation relies on it. People with genetic disorders and mental problems are sterlized and their children euthanized. The Aryana is part of the Thulic Axis powers along with their ally Nordir.
Armed Forces
The armed forces of the Aryana consist of The Army, War Navy, Air Force, and the elite all purpose Storm Legion. Draft into one of the first three is mandatory for two years by age 17 and recruitment to the Storm Legion is a heavily investigated and tedious application, but if accepted, will prepare recruits for war using a strict disciplinary honor system and training program designed to breed supersoldiers, supreme examples of Aryanite superiority. The military is the vanguard of the people and fatherland, therefore requiring large amounts of government funding, resulting in only the highest grade material for soldiers to use and train with.
Ethnicity
Very Nordic in appearance, the indo european peoples of The Aryana are tall, blond haired, blue eyed supermen with above average IQs and good physiques. Fat people are sent to labor camps until they lose weight and become acceptable to look at. Uglies are regularly euthanized as part of the eugenics program, although the number of executed, as expected, drops every year. Most Aryanites are good looking.
Lebensraum
The Aryana is constantly at, and winning, wars for living space. Small nations are easily conquered using blitzkrieg tactics and the people are subjected to intensive pro Aryana propaganda. All who resist are rounded up by the secret police known as The Black Order, a sect of the Storm Legion dedicated to maintaining national stability, and thrown into heavily guarded labor camps where they fuel the war industry. Large countries are overwhelmed by the superior quality of the Aryana's seemingly superhuman warriors, who destroy entire armies in large coordinated attacks using their training and skill to the fullest.
Cities and Infrastructure
The Aryana's pride in national preservation has prevented the growth and overpopulation of many towns. Regions contain one large city each and are connected by well paved roads and environmentally friendly monorail systems. Travel by horseback is efficient and quick due to the cleanliness and well managed trafic system. The dung from the horses is used to feed hungry prisoners in labor camps as well, saving the taxpayers from having to feed them themselves. Pride in their nation keeps the streets clean and let's the police force concentrate fully on serious criminals, fully eliminating urban thugery completely with an iron fist. Thieves are shot on sight.
Religion
The official national religion of The Aryana is a reincarnation of ancient teutonic/norse paganism tweeked for modern acceptance by the people. It is a religion of the blood, which stresses race and nation over the individual and follows a noble honor code. The pantheon consists of the nordic Aesir gods, Odin, Thor, Frey, Freyja, also known by their germanic counterpart names Wotan, Donar, Frey, Freyja. Sacrifices of humans is strictly forbiddon, unless of course it's a subhuman criminal. Works camps provide an excellent source of sacrificial meat, ready to give their useless lives to the high divine masters of the earth and heavens.
