The Baltrion/MUSA Crisis

The Beginning

How do most wars start you may ask? Territory, money, civil liberties? Yet the Baltrion/MUSA Crisis started as something less.

December 7th, 2006:

At the assembly of Pye the daily actions were going as planned until the Baltrion ambassador started his speech, a slur aimed right at the MUSA Warriors envoy. Those two opening words that would soon snowball into a Nuclear war; "You Suck!".

Opening Moves

At the time Baltrion had no military and could not withstand the blitzkrieg unleashed by MUSA (meaning warrior in Korean). For 5 months most of Baltrion was controlled by MUSA, giving no resistance but light civilian rebels. Musa could not fight a determined population inside of their cities, and combat in the wild was a rare occurrence. Baltrion was crushed, but never surrendered. That was until MUSA developed their first nuclear weapons (later sold through a desperate effort to raise the economy to no other than Baltrion) and promptly tested them on the Baltrian city of Magnaskia.

Third Party Intervention

After the 'test' of MUSA's nuclear bomb on the city of Magnaskia the other nations of Pye called for an immediate end to this 'violent and childish' affair. At first both countrys refused a cease fire until Bambeaner and Golden Sails imposed strict sanctions on the two countrys. Without exterior aid both countrys quickly relinquished their arms and began the process of peace talks.

Afterword

Now Baltrion and MUSA are at an uneasy peace. However daily there are rebel and resistance attacks in both countries. It is also rumored that Baltrion has obtained nuclear arms from the international organization Nukes4U (Oddly, MUSA warriors is rumored to have connection to this organization).
