History

The Theocracy of The Beatus (Latin for Blessed) was established in 2007 after a coup over through the previous regime. The bloody coup started in February 2006 and last a year and a half. It ended with His Holiness, Edwardo Listless, then a priest and the leader of the coup, beheading the former leader, Kleg Plostos, the king at the time. The coup started when the king out lawed all religion. Late in the coup His Holiness, took a bullet in his right leg, and now walks with a permanent limp.

The Kingdom of Plostos

The Kingdom of Plostos was name of The Theocracy of The Beatus before what has now been termed by the religious scholars of The Theocracy of The Beatus as The Religious Revival. It's royal family had been the Plostos line for over three thousand years. Very little of its history before the year 1890 A.D. was destroyed during the peasant revolt of 1889, when the peasants set fire to the royal palace which lead to the half of Plostosia (renamed The City of The Blessed after The Religious Revival) burning down while the fire department was trying in vain to save the palace. The following year begins recorded history. That year King Lethlos Plostos, died and his 3 year old son became King. His orders were issued through his royal butler Gustov Lackjaw who it is beleave truely ruled the country for 50 years, when he was executed after being found to have poisoned King Lethlos Plostos. It was then 1940 when Lethlos's son Jack became King at the age of 36 (meaning Lethlos was 17 when Jack was born). Little is know of Jack childhood as he was hidden from the public eye by Gustov. When he became king, half the country didn't even know Lethlos had a son. Jack's mother is unknown, for at the age of 15 king Lethlos had 15 wives, and countless other "Special friends." In 1951 Kleg was born. He took office in 1967 when his father was taken ill with an unknown brain ailment. The people were happy with king Kleg, until in December 2005, royal decree 1008008032-29A out lawed The Path of the Blessed and made up his own religion in which the people worshiped him as the nation religion by law. Leading to The Religious Revival in February 2006, and later his death at the hands of priest and famed coup leader Edwardo Listliss, sometime in 2007.
