The CM99a sniper rifle "Tank hunter"

CM99

CM99A

This is a new sniper rifle mainly designed for the platoon anti-armor use. It utilizes a newly made round. The .75 cal by 12 inch expanded shell is specially designed for anti-vehicle warfare, but if it strikes a human target, it might leave the shoes. With the right round and range, it can take out almost any tank used by major RL warring powers (NATO, SEATO, Warsaw, etc.). After about an inch lengthwise on the shell casing, it goes to a four inch diameter, making this a miniature tank shell. At the range of 800 yards with a DU round, it can penetrate 25 inches of 2 gauge steel. The CM99a variant uses nitro tri-iodide propellant (normal gunpowder uses a nitroglycerin propellant) which triples the muzzle velocity, and the CM99a is forged tougher to withstand this harsher force. The CM99/a is technically considered an anti-tank rifle (ATR).
