CF-12 is The Cairhienen Corporation's (CC) second fighter after the dearmament. It was designed to be cheap, light, and maneuverable.

Variants
A Model B was commissioned to be built out of much lighter aluminum, to minimize weight, and further lower cost. The downside is the inability to take much damage at all. Other improvements include higher ammo quantities, increased range, and higher efficiency engines, along with minor problem fixes. The biggest problem fixed was an aerodynamic one that tended to create vorticies that caused drag and hindered fuel efficiency.
A Model C was commissioned to be supersonic capable, using the more advanced, and powerful, Starburst II engines, and a stronger frame. It included the other improvements of the B model.
