The next ruler of the tribe is determined at the will of the current leader. When he feels he is near death, he calls upon the spiritual leaders of the tribe, and orders that the strongest young men be taken to the sea. They conduct a secret test, only known by the oldest priests. All that is known is that the man who is victorious comes back happier than ever, and the other come back traumatized, unable to do anything for at least a month.

The Corleones are a prehistoric Grocolian tribe, inhabiting (RL) Corsica.
