The Culturally Inept was created in September 2006 by a bored Welshman who was looking for something to do with his ample spare time. As time passed, his spare time became more scarse, but he had the bright idea of substituting sleep with hours of Nation States play.

The Culturally Inept has his main nation situated in The Pub and has been delegate since April 2007. He also has several puppets all around Nation States causing trouble. The regions include Elarim and FEA The Culturally Inept, or Inept to his friends (and enemies) is a left wing nation that everyone would be proud to live in, as long as you can handle the 100 tax rate.

The Harmoniously ignorant people of The culturally inept is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 1.466 billion love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Welfare, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Citizens recently voted in favour of declaring bubblewrap an 'abomination of nature', the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, eminent domain has been abolished, and the military frequently holds bake sales to raise funds. Crime is totally unknown. The culturally inept's national animal is the Dog, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Arian.
