The first The Eurasian Republic Prime Ministerial elections took place from 18th January to 28th January, with the actual polling taking place from 26th January to 28th January. As expected by most observers, the two running candidates were SDLP leader and Prime Minister Callum McKayle, and Liberal Socialist leader and opposition leader Joseph Edwards. Although early results put the two parties neck-and-neck, the eventual runaway winner, with over 70% of the vote, was Callum McKayle
