March 5 The Empress's Birthday The birthday of the Imperial-Empress is a national holiday. Imperial-Empress Jewel "The Giver of the Realm" Imperius was born on this date in 2480. The Imperial Crown Palace in New Stars City is open to the public, and millions of well-wishers wave flags and send gifts and cards in honour of the occasion.
March (Second Saturday to the third Sunday) Spring Break Spring break is a week-long recess from school in the early spring, students travel to a tropical location and party hard for a week. Statutory Holiday for Students Only
March 14 White Day The second part of Valentine's Day, a man buys his special woman a treat. Its roots date back too the same Japanese holiday. Not a Statutory Holiday
March 17 Saint Patrick's Day Big parades takes place, people celebrate St. Patrick's Day by wearing green-coloured clothing and items. Traditionally, those who are caught not wearing green are pinched, leading to several St. Patrick's Day items hosting phrases such as "Can't pinch me!" People also celebrate St. Patrick's Day by consuming large quantities of alcoholic beverages. Not a Statutory Holiday

July 25 Civil War Memorial Day Memorial for Arch-Emperor Hanse Imperius, Imperial-Empress Melissa Imperius and their unborn daughter, when they where executed at the start of the Federated Stars Civil War (since 2506)
July 27 The Emperor's Birthday The birthday of the reigning Arch-Emperor is a national holiday. Arch-Emperor Michael X "The Shining Knight" Stars Imperius was born on this date in 2488. The Imperial Crown Palace in New Stars City is open to the public, and millions of well-wishers wave flags and send gifts and cards in honour of the occasion.
August 1 Armed Forces Day A celebration of the Federated Stars Armed Forces, their heritage, and their personnel. There are parades to mark the day. Many bases also celebrate where part of a base is opened to the public for military demonstrations by various units, including airshows at air bases, and engineering, armoured and infantry displays at army bases.
First Monday in September Labour Day Celebrate achievements of workers and the labour movement, marks traditional end of summer.
Second Monday in October Thanksgiving A Day of general thanks for the bountiful harvest with which Federated Stars has been blessed.

October 31 Halloween Halloween is a tradition celebrated on the night of October 31, most notably by children dressing in costumes and going door-to-door collecting sweets, fruit, and other treats. Apart from this trick-or-treating, there are many other traditional Halloween activities. Some of these include using fireworks, costume parties, watching horror films, going to "haunted" houses, and traditional autumn activities such as hayrides, some of these even "haunted". December 25 Christmas Day Christmas is the most economically significant holiday of the year, traditions include the display of Christmas lights & trees, the gifts and cards being exchanged between family and friends, and the arrival of Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, promoting goodwill, giving, compassion, and quality family time with a big dinner on Christmas Eve or Day.
December 26 Boxing Day Day when shops sell off excess Christmas inventory. However this now happens over one week, hence Boxing Week Sales.
December 31 New Year's Eve Celebration involves partying until the moment of the transition of the year at midnight, drinking champagne, using fireworks. Not a Statutory Holiday
