The Imperial Guard
The Imperial Guard is the small branch of the Solen Military, it is dedicated to protecting the President, Diplomat's and sometimes used for High-Standard Military Operations, and the are trained at mainly grouand conflict. There are 509,145 combat personell of the Imperial Guard.
History
In 1928, President Kevin Freiderson was nearly assasinated during an Open-Air Conference at Jevyol. From then a SRA (Solen Republican Army) sent the Jerkravk East Corps, later to become The Imperial Guard to help Guard all Presidents from that date.
Internal Missions
From 1929, the Imperial guard were a rather well known is Solenial, and would protect the President but also other Important Characters, cvil or foreign. In 1951, President Devon James was in a meeting with head of Bjornoschkodel Winfred Harriot, as the Leader of Bjornoschkodel left into the busy square little did he know there was a rifle facing him. The Imperial Guard managed to find out about this and Mr Turnbull, A Rifleman shot the Assasinators before it was too late. To this day there is a statue in that very square with a Solenial Flag, a Bjornoschkodel Flag and a large plaque with Mr Turnbull's name on it.
External Missions
Despite the Imperial Guards protect characters in Solenial, the Jerkravk East Corps Tradition was for one soldier to do one term in a Foreign War (If there was one in their time). And the Imperial Guards have kept that tradition.
Training
An Imperial Guard experiences the same Training as a SRA Soldier, but instead of them choosing an MOS, they Specialise in how to Guard.
