The Islands of Mists is a large cluster of islands located in the southern reaches of the Indian Ocean of which the two largest are Akaton and the mainland of the Resurgent Dream. Most of the smaller islands are either under the rule of one nation or the other or are ruled directly by the Emperor and Empress of Mists.
