The Last Anarchy Order, usually abbreviated LAO or Orderea, is a powerful nation in The Kingdom of the Midlands and has had many breaks in technological fields. Thus the Ordereans are often highly intelligent and the literacy rate in the nation is 100%.

General Information

City-States

• An expansive Mag-Lev Train system connects each City-State to one another. To connect the two islands, an underground tunnel has been developed to economically transport citizens across the Orderean Channel.

Academia

Academia is home to the Post-Secondary schooling in The Last Anarchy Order. A multitude of specialty colleges call Academia home, including the acclaimed Orderean School of the Arts and the Computer Technologies Institute.

Capital City

(Formerly Fathom)
The aptly named City-State is home to the leaders of the government. This city has expanded well past it's original boundaries to encompass it's entire peninsula. The lack of area in the urban sprawl has forced the building of massive skyscraper-esque buildings meant only for housing.

Concord

A primarily industrial area, Concord develops and builds nearly all of the vehicles, prefabricated buildings, and weaponry. Along with this, the City-state produces massive quantities of raw materials.

Garcia

This City-State is home to the Import-Export business. Countless ships come from Port Garcia and a multitude of freight aircraft take off from Garcia International in any given hour. If any illegal business were to take place, this is the spot.

Midwich

Midwich is the place of medical care in The Last Anarchy Order. Any specialist in any medical field can be found in Midwich. Albeit there being general hospitals in each City-State, Midwich is the only place to get specialty care, such as brain surgery or reconstructive operations.

Rydell

Simply the only place to buy any electronics products, Rydell manufactures the greatest computers in all of the land. Rydell Microprocessor develops all of the supercomputers used by the military, police force, and government.

Military City-States

Fort Julius

This is the training campus for the omnipresent Orderean Police Force, which is on of the greatest in the land. The facility trains recruits in all known police tactics. The lone prison in the entire nation rests here, staffed, but devoid of prisoners. Most violators of the law don't reach the prison alive.

Fort Pastor

The Pastor facility trains all aspects of the military from basic training to advanced flight techniques. The site encompasses a vast amount of land and trains an enormous amount of enlisted men and women, old and young.

Necerlander

This is the privately funded island that trains The Menace and the Thought Police. In conclusion, any ting that takes place here, or actions that are carried out by the graduates of the island do not reflect the nation, and the nation can not be accountable for their actions.

Language

The most common language of The LAO is English. However, many influences of Newspeak have accumulated. Many times you can walk down a street in Capital City and hear a teenager saying, "The government is doubleplusungood," or, "Man, that girl made me crimethink." It is rumored that these occurrences of Newspeak were original started by the thought to be defunct Thought Police, but no one can be sure.

Citizenship

In order to achieve complete citizenship in The Last Anarchy Order, entrants must prove their selves knowledgeable about the English language, mathematics and history. The government put these steep precautions in place to invite only the most intellectual and street smart foreigners into the nation.

Welfare

The welfare of the Ordereans is one of the best. The government uses most of its aid to help students going into college, and therefore is continuing the long standing tradition of Ordereans to be the most brilliant in the galaxy.

Note: Even though at these ranks, the enlisted man/woman can lead these units, they must apply to a superior officer to gain the position. Class of the rank is usually the deciding factor during the selection process, in which the higher the Class, the higher the rank.

Along with the ranks system, each rank has a series of different classes that much be reached to have the ability to advance to the next rank.

  • To be applicable for General/Commissioner of the Police/Military, the General/Commissioner must gain Four-Star status and be nominated to lead.

Specialist Forces

The Cyborgs

On every battlefield in which contained Orderean soldiers, the Cyborgs have been there, either in the ranks, or as the leaders. The Cyborgs work to accurately send a report of the status on the ground, air, or sea back to Orderean Command in Capital City.

The Cyborgs have ocular implants which display data to the soldier, as well as back to Command. These unsung heroes have helped win many wars, skirmishes and rescue countless hostages and soldiers alike. Although known to be existent, a Cyborg does not reveal his/her identity to the soldiers around them, for their protection in cas of interrogation by the enemy.

The Necerlander Facility

The Necerlander facility is where all of the specialist training is conducted, under the pretenses that the facility is privately funded. The percentage of people who are actually invited to the island is extremely low, and the populous of the LAO do not know of the practices that take place here. First, most violate Human Rights, and second, certain things people just do not want to know. Their existence is denied by the government, and according to treasury records receive no funding from the government. Thereby, their actions are in no way linked to the nation, and any violations of Human Rights can not reflect the country.

The Thought Police

The Thought Police originated over one hundred years ago, when the technology to detect human emotions was just beginning. The Police Commissioner at the time decide it would be a good way to help prevent crime. This became just the opposite. Multiple Human Rights groups rose up and protested. On the fateful night of May 25, 1984, the protesters became violent. They took to arms and stormed the Thought Police Department in Capital City. A massacre ensued. Of the nearly 400 Thought Police, not a single one survived. The Thought Police was thought to be destroyed.

The effect of the riots was, in a twist of irony, used to develop a new Thought Police, unbeknown to the public. The new Thought Police was initiated to prevent riots of this kind, carefully and quietly executing countless leaders of revolutionary groups.

It is rumored that the Thought Police work on their own, separate the government, but this can not be confirmed, due to the denial of their existence.

The Menace

The Menace are the embodiment of their namesake. These are the most heartless, cold murderers in the entire nation. If a political assassination is to occur, these men follow the orders. If an entire town must be exterminated and make the genocide appear to be an industrial accident, these are the men to complete it.

The Menace are specialized in each of these categories:

• Assassination: The assassins have a fairly straight forward job. They must kill who they are told to. On a few occasions, they have been asked to kill their own spouses, and even their own children. As to date, not a single Menace has flinched before they pull the trigger, place the bag over a head, or use their knifes up close and personal.
• Biological Warfare: The Biological Warfare specialists have the grueling job of testing new biological weapons developed by the government. This includes documenting the effects on the flesh, wildlife, and the environment. On a few occasions, a zombie-like transformation has occurred in the human subjects, but ceases to damage nature.
• Interrogation/Torture: In many instances, their are secrets people want. They turn to these sick individuals to extract the information. Although the end is ultimately death, the Interrogators find the greatest ways to prolong death and increase pain. In some situations, it has entailed many years of torture, and the interrogation always gains the intel it needs.
• Extermination:The exterminators are called to go into a town or village and kill everything. The second part of the job is fabricating a story to a disaster of sorts, the reason everyone is dead. The most disgusting part of this job is the ways of murder they implement. The worst is when an industrial complex that produces chemicals nearby 'explodes'. The building is exploded, of course, but only after all of the citizens in the town have been burned alive by flamethrowers and doused in sulfuric acid.
