The Marfesto Rebellion

The Marfesto Rebellion was an infamous day in The Free Land of Nearoschyth's history. Two years after Lanmi Khuan became dictator of the nation, the people took up weapons and marched upon Lanmi Khuan's palace Lersogotti, defeating his army little by little on the march forward. When they finally reached Lersogotti, Burtesto Marfesto marched the army around Lanmi's gates and set three bombs to blow down a small blockade. Marfesto - seeing his brother, Umnesto, pinned under a large piece of debris - jumped through the gunfire (being shot nearly 7 times) and ran to his ailing sibling. He picked his brother up and dragged him behind a corner away from the battle. Looking to his left he spotted an T5-C1 Grademan armored vehicle and he laid his brother down and made a dash for it. He took it and supported the rebels to a victory over the oppressive Lanmi army. He is considered a hero yet today.
