Located on the Island of Rosenzern, The Holy Republic of the Northern Nations is a small, modest nation notable mainly for its unique, diverse culture. The history of the Northern Nations is remarkable for the single fact that it is actually three histories blended into one. Long before the Northern Nations even became a nation, three smaller nations shared the island of Rosernzern, the small country of Anglod in the south, larger Trotska to the northwest, and dominant Fredenberden in the northeast. The three countries shared the island of Rosenzern (that is only the Lindestaaten name for the island, literally "Rosy Land", called Trotskava by the Trotskans, "Larger Trotska", and Bertlod by the Anglods, "Big Land".
