The PEELympic Crest
Summary
The PEELympic Games, or PEELympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years and comprising of summer and winter games. Started in 2052, the Games of the PEELympiad have brought together many nations of the PEEL region for peaceful, sportsmanlike competition unfettered by outside political difference.
On occasion, however, political and partisan bickering has had a significant effect on the games.
There is a standard two-year period between summer and winter games, although in 2056 both Winter and Summer games were played, as the 2054 Winter games had been cancelled due to war.
