Sendar is one of Domnonia's newer provinces. It has an area of 651,900 km² and a population of 22,985,386. Most of its population live in the geographic centre and the southernmost parts of the province. The largest city is Jedoor with a metropolitan population of 10.7 million, followed by the province's capital, Sendar (metro population: 9.66 million).

Sendar is bounded on the west by Inlad, on the north by Algar and Powysia, on the east by Lindinis, and on the south by the ocean. Sendar has the distinction of being one of only two provinces whose borders correspond with no foreign natiaon..

The province's name comes from the Sendarian tribes who inhabited the region before mass migration of Keeslanders, whose Old Domini name is Sintārawīn , meaning "swift running people".

Economy

Sendar's economy is traditionally associated with agriculture; however, increasing diversification has meant that now agriculture, forestry, fishing, and hunting together make up only 10% of the province's GDP. Wheat is the most familiar crop, and perhaps the one stereotypically associated with the province, but other grains like canola, flax, and barley are also produced. Beef cattle production in the province is only exceeded by Algar. Mining is also a major industry in the province, with Sendar being a regional leader in diamond exports. In the northern part of the province, forestry is significant.

Sendar is also one the the regions most important suppliers of uranium, and supplies much of Domnonia's supplies. The uranium industry is closely regulated by the provincial government which allows the government of Sendar great latitude in setting regional uranium prices.
