Like most modern nations, The Federated Stars thrives on its trade. The Trade Oversight Department has long attracted many of the best and brightest in what has been at times surrogate warfare with some other nations. And it is a public fact that the Trade Oversight Department has tremendous responsibility, and takes that responsibility seriously. TOD’s auditors, accountants, and review officers are the last line of defense on some trade matters.
