The War in Anubinia

• In the hours after the declaration of war by Yugopatomia and COMECON against The Holy Dominion on October 28th 2052, General Anubis of the Royal Anubinian Army immediately placed the nation into a wartime state. All industrial factories began pumping out weapons, planes, and tanks while a national draft was put into place, making it manditory for all able-bodied men to report to local garrisons to be outfitted with weapons and begin basic training. The West bank of the Nihl River was also fortified with railgun turrets and artillery to stop an offensive assault from MDKCorp across the river.

• The Anubinian Military also began a series of covert missions across the region at the time, attempting to do away with top government officials in countries that posed a threat to Dominion security. On October 22nd, an undercover team of Dominion Agents led by Colonel Anjar Ilkis of the Anubinian Special Ops made an assassination attempt on the Ivorilan First Minister, Esfaer Donovan. Unfortuntely for the agents, the attempt failed and Donovan barely survived. Two days later, he announced that Ivorila interpreted this as an attack, and declared war on the Dominion. Soon after, the 3rd Qudrant of the Ivorilan Armed Forces prepared to mobilize and began leaving Ivorila, bound for the Western Spur. It was also at this time that Leonard Davis, 2nd in command of the Republic of Yugopatomia took power, but it would be months before his connection to the Holy Dominion would be revealed.

• On November 3rd, word reached the Anubinian government that the EMP Space complex in F'Rama Orbit was attacked by a small number of unidentified fighters, but was able to repel the force. Because of signs that connected the fighters to Nurdbotia and Zedoljev, a fleet of Anubinian Unas-Bombers assaulted the Nurdbotian-Pyrexonian base on the Green Moon of Kif. However, upon their return to the Space Complex, the bombers encountered a huge force of more unidentified fighters and huge space battleships. The fleet was destroyed, and the EMP Weapon was heavily damaged before the enemy retreated. Later, after the war was over, it was confirmed that the space fleet that had attacked had indeed come from Neo-Urallia

• Later that month, Emperor Silver of Weinersteinston stupidly began an offensive campaign in NW2 against MDKCorp, and in response, the nation declared war on the Holy Dominion. Within days, ehavy artillery bombardment of Luxor on the west bank on the Nihl River began, and both Anubinian and MDKCorp began shelling the opposite shores, killing thousands on either side. It was at this time that the idea of a joint Coalition to fight the Dominion was put forward by MDKCorp, and half a dozen nations including Nurdbotia, Uudestaan, and Pastocia quickly joined...

• To combat the creation of The Coalition, Anubinia and New Star Warsia began a offensive assault on it's nations. The first to fall was the Colony of Nova Pastocia in the Western Outlying Territories. Along with it's swift fall, Anubinian troops also captured the flagship of The Imperial Pastocian Navy, the PSS Der Kaiser, the largest battleship in the region. Once in Dominion hands, an Anubinian crew aboard renamed it "The Ra" and scored a major victory against MDKCorp Parasecurity Naval Forces at Geronimo Bay, Peniguia, using the vessel as a platform to destroy the majority of MDKCorp's naval and a portion of it's airforce. At the same time, a second pronged attack struck MDKC Troops in NW2, where they were fighting the Smiley Face Army of Weinersteinston. The suprise assault pushed back the Coalition army for the time being back into MDKCorp.

• But as Anubinia was pushing it's way into MDKCorp, the 3rd Quadrant of Ivorila landed south of Anubinia and began marching toward the border. The MDKCorp invasion was put to the side, as General Anubis led the main bulk of the Anubinian Infantry and Artillery agains the Ivorilan Army at the Battle of Abydos. After a week of fierce fighting, the 3rd Qudrant, personally led by First Minister Donovan, retreated back past Anubinia's southern border and began the Ivorilan exit from the war. As this was all happening, the western Anubinian city of Thebes was decimated by a thermonuclear bomb, hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. Supreme Pharaoh Set blamed the attack on MDKCorp and Coalition nations, and soon after, the MDKCorpan city of Messor was leveled by a nuke as well, which many believed came as retalliation from Anubinia.

• On December 9th, in a shocking move, the Obsidian Order joined the war on the side of the Holy Dominion. Within days, Cardassian troops moved into Uudestaan and Pastocia and the COMECON army in the Yugopatomian Glacial Colony was crippled by a bombing run.

• On December 15th, Coalition armies officially launched their counteroffensive against Anubinia in the form of "Operation Atlantis" and "Operation Midgard". Atlantis was a full assault on the Anubinian port city of Heliopolis by a combined Pastocian, Nurdbotian, and Rubakavan fleet, which was used in conjunction with the underground "Anubinian Liberation Army", led by Prime Minister Thoth the Wise. Only a few days into the assault however, Pastocia recalled it's forces back to mainland Pastocia to fight agains the Cardassian and Dominion Invasion. The loss of Pastocian ships slowed the allied invasion, but only slightly. Within two months, Heliopolis would fall, and the Coalition would have it's first major foothold in Anubinia. Operation Midgard was a attack from the north, led by MDKC Parasecurity forces. General Anubis led his personal army division against the invaders, and pushed them back. But soon after, his army began to have to crisscross the country, fighting off COMECON troops in Operation Atlantis, as well as Ivorilan troops in the southwest. Due to building losses, Set recalled Anubinian troops from the defense of Weinersteinston and brought in a fresh StarWarsian army from the south which halted the COMECON troops in the city of Lycopolis, as they marched towards the Capital of Luxor.

• By early 2053, the StarWarsian reinforcements had failed and Coalition armies continued toward Luxor from both sides. MDKC Parasecurity troops began filtering in Weinersteinston, Ivorilan and St M&H Divisions poured across the southern and western border, and the COMECON Army, supported by Thoth's Anubinian Liberation Army, advanced along the Nihl from the south. General Anubis and his personally-led Giza Division retreated back to the Capital, as did all available army detachments. Preparing for a long and bloody battle on the plateaus and the streets outside Luxor, new artillery was placed at strategic positions on the ancient city walls surrounding the city and command posts were established across the city. But suddenly, Supreme Pharaoh Set fled the city in his private plane and the population decended into chaos after people learned their God had abandoned them. While General Anubis, now in command of Luxor, attempted to regain peace, all able-bodied citizens were ordered to report to barracks across the city to be handed weapons and uniform and were stationed all over the city, boosting the overall Anubinian Troop count to an astounding 80 Million. As Coalition troops came to the outskirts of the city, the battle for Luxor began immediately, with heavily casualties reaching 5 million on both sides. Both parties began pulling out last-ditch weapons too, with General Anubis beginning the distribution of Tactical Nuclear Warhead launchers to soldiers and the orbital EMP Weapon keeping the Coaliton armies at bay for the time being. But in a shocking and unsuspecting move, a group of RMDF troops breached the secret compound where General Anubis was staying and killed him in a bloody shootout. With the death of General Anubis, his second-in-command, General Rameais took control of the army, but being known as a poor commander on the battlefield, thousands of soldiers broke ranks and fled into the streets calling for the citizens of Luxor to hide. As if the loss of Anubis was not enough, it was revealed that the Cardassians in the Obsidian Order turned on the Dominion and destroyed the Orbital EMP Weapon, thus allowing thousands of Coalition troops to storm the city of Luxor. With defeat imminant, General Rameais sent word to General Scott Mori of the Coalition army that Anubinia surrenders.
