The War of Ages

The War of Ages was a war in Ania between the Gurennese, Defficese, Demontropians, and Luxians.

Background

The War of Ages gained its name not because it lasted for ages, but because the events that happened during it where usually only seen in one whole age. These events where the revival of the ancient art of ninjutsu by the spies from Luxias, the discovery of Demontropius and other great changes that changed Ania's future.

Causes

The main cause for the "War of Ages", was the fact that The Constitutional Monarchy of Gurenn was mass-producing, armored vehicles on an island above it's mainland.

The Begining

In the year 1988, the regions of Deffice and Luxias discovered that Gurenn was mass producing armored vehicles on a remote island. After that a meeting was arranged between Deffice, Luxias and Gurenn, to address the matter of the armored vehicles. It became known that Gurenn would not stop production or clarify why it was building these machines.

Upon this Deffice and Luxias agreed that Gurenn was preparing an army to invade them. And thus they gave Gurenn a final warning to stop production, which Gurenn did not answer. So Deffice had no choice but to launch an attack on Gurenn while Luxias provided Deffice with intelligence.

The year 1989 and 1990

After a year it became clear that the defenses and attack of all regions where able to repel each other. So Luxias started a secret program to relearn the ancient art of ninjutsu, so that their spies could infiltrate Gurenn effectively and bring down the Defense Computer. Deffice meanwhile tried to reach Gurenn via an underground tunnel system that remained from ancient times, and was said to be made by the first emperor.

The Constitutional Monarchy of Gurenn who noticed this and saw it as an opportunity to win the war, launched a missile towards the capital of Deffice. Luxias who noticed the launch used their radar system to scramble the data of the missile, causing it to fly of course and detonate at a seemingly uninhabited coordinates. These coordinates being the Dark Sea (named like this because of the mist enshrouding it, this sea later got renamed to the Sea of Beasts, which is it's true name since ancient time). The power of the detonation was so strong that it blew the mist enshrouding the waters aside, and revealed the existence of an island.

Upon this discovery, Gurenn immediately sent a ship to investigate, which was destroyed by a flash of black lightning upon approaching the island. After the destruction of the Gurennese ship Deffice made a strange move, the emporer of Deffice himself left for the island. When he almost reached the point at which the Gurennese ship was destroyed a flare of some sort (Later revealed to be Phoenix Fire, it remains unknown how the current emperor of Deffice learned this technique that was the signature move of the founder of Deffice) was fired from the ship.

After firing the flare, the ship proceeded forward to the island and arrived safely. While this was happening Luxias seized control of the opportunity that arose, because of Gurenn trying to find out what happened to their boat. By using spies that invaded the capital with ninjutsu, they hacked into the system and deleted the blueprints for the vehicles, after which they crashed the defense computer. After this Gurenn had no choice but to propose a treaty.

The final chapter

The emperor of Deffice returned from the island, together with a man in a black suit who was accompanied by two ladies, which to everybody's surprise where animalistic in appearance. The emperor of Deffice explained (via a television broadcast) that they where of the demon race, and lived on the unknown island that had the name Demontropius. He also revealed that there was an ancient rumor in his country about this island, and only the Imperial house knew the method (this being the Phoenix Fire Technique) to enter the waters of Demontropius, because of an alliance spoken of in the rumor.

When the emporer of Deffice heard about the treaty he agreed to it because he wanted to help Demontropius to rebuild the damage of the attack. Luxias also agreed to the treaty, because they also felt guilty for the damage to Demontropius, and wanted to help rebuild.

The treaty was signed on February 11, 1990 by all four emperors. And the four countries combined where called Ania, after the ancient religion that in the past and now still is being practiced by most inhabitants of the country's And so came to be "The Treaty of Four".
