Olympic silver medallist

Thomas Peruzzi is a Sanadrianese athlete who competed in the first and second Winter Olympics. He was his nation's flag-bearer and sole representative on both occasions, making San Adriano's the smallest delegation at the Games.

Peruzzi was born in the small city-state of San Adriano, where he still lives and works as a grocer. He entered in three short track events in the Aeropag Games, was disqualified in the 1km race, and reached the quarter-finals in the 500 metres. In his final event, the 1.5km, Peruzzi reached the final and finished second with a time of 2:24.569, earning a silver medal and placing his nation in 33rd place on the overall medal chart.

Peruzzi's achievement led to celebrations in his home village, and was commemorated through his portrait being printed on all new issues of banknotes with a value of five hundred sanadrianese lira.

In the Keto Games, he was disqualified in both the 1.5km and the one kilometre event, before winning bronze in the five hundred metres, and earning a hero's welcome once more upon his return home.
