Tiber Valias is the current ruling Grand Nasier of the Nationalist Republic of Lorkhan and it's two territories. He is part of the Tribune of Corellus, a political body that insures the safety and progress of Norgeland and it's nations, and the standing leader of the NSSC political party. He was raised a member of Clan Thaosia and owns the majority of the clans' stock, and served as a knight in the apparently dissolved Brotherhood of the Hammer.

Birth and Childhood
Factual information about Valias as a child and as a young adult is extremely hard to come by. Records pertaining to his ancestry, immediate family members, and upbringing had mysteriously vanished toward the end of the 80s. The general assumption is that these records were destroyed by agents working for the NSSC to conceal his identity and those of his relatives during the war, instigating the belief that Valias may have had ambitions to rule before he began working for the NSSC, and agents at his disposal within the autocratic government.
Early Years
From his own testament, Valias was born in the small impoverished village of Agonki, which resides in the county of Thaos in north eastern Lorkhan. Upon birth his mother died in labor and so he was adopted by a local shaman and raised as an apprentice. He attended a small school which had only seven students and one class for stages 1 - 10. At the age of nine the shaman was exiled from the village and the child was again adopted by a family belonging to Clan Thaosia. He was instructed by a private tutor from there on out but, attended lessons with the shaman in secret until he was seventeen.
Young Adult
As was customary for all males belonging to Clan Thaosia, Valias began training for conscription at the age of fifteen. Upon graduation he was enrolled into the LADF and was stationed at Camp Valhus. He took full advantage of Camp Valhus's benefits and enrolled in the on base university, allowing him to remain there until the completion of his studies. He graduated with a bachelors degree in social science and history, and a masters in law before being sent out to serve as an officer in the LADF IntelCorp. It was at this time that he became familiar with the Brotherhood of the Hammer and began studying with the knights and priests of the order.
Principles of Clan Thaosia
From a young age, Valias was indoctrined with the values of inner strength and resolve which served as the hallmark of his native clan. More so than other regional tribes, Clan Thaosia held firmly to the culture of Old Norse, having even still used traditional longboats for transportation along the Yugow River and having renounced modernized customs and technology. These characteristics saw the addition of the shaman's teachings and frequent prophecies that he shared with Valias as a boy. These traits combined to make Valias a master tactician and charismatic leader, and a champion of the Norsemen.
Early Relations
Officialy, Valias is distantly related to a colonel in the PDF and a professor at Central University, though no proof has been presented to confirm this as legitimate. Figuratively he is related to Clan Thaosia as a whole, and he welcomes surviving members of the clan as brother/sister and cousin/aunt/uncle.
He has known the ancient elf Nordsjäl since he was twelve. Nordsjäl had employed the shaman to train Valias as a boy to fit her designs, without risking her own identity in the process. The two have shared a unique relationship mixing the traits of mother/son, mentor/student, and lover since he was a teenager. Their relationship is completly unknown, even to the other agents serving in Nordsjäl's Path.
He has known and shared a friendship with Jorten Vjork since he was a child, and the two are considered best of friends.
