The Second Lord-Protector of Starblaydia

Tiberius Starblayde was Lord-Protector of the Protectorate of Starblaydia. Tiberius inherited the position from his father, Saevion, upon his passing. The Lord-Protector had absolute power over the land and its people, and he ruled his nation with a hand-picked Council of Ministers, who were ennobled by his will, making them all Lords.

Tiberius ruled - technically as a dictator - as benevolently as he could, keeping taxes down, the economy strong and Starblaydia defended from any would-be enemies. Though rarely appearing on television, his natural charm and confidence can made him seem somewhat superior and arrogant towards the 'ordinary' human being. Tiberius was also known to be a follower of the Fam’dai.

As a keen follower of all sports, but particularly the national sport of Football, Tiberius was known to attend many events in Starblaydia - much to the chagrin of his security detail - and was often known to throw lavish parties when Starblaydia plays in International football matches. The Tiberius Cup was also created to celebrate his birth, and Liga Starblaydia teams compete for the honour of winning the trophy that bears his name.

Many rumours abounded throughout his life as to Tiberius' favourite football team, with most 'experts' - of course they are nothing of the sort - pointing to Iskara Daii. Insiders close to the Lord-Protector, however, hint at the fact that Jhanna City was actually his most-favoured team, as they won the Inaugural Starblaydi Alpha Division, held when Tiberius was merely the son of a Lord-Protector, and allowed to be partisan in his football club supporting. He was not, however, said to be happy when 'JCFC' signed a Lamonian player.

A strong cult of personality exists around all Lord-Protectors, which made Tiberius and Starblaydia seem synonymous, so it became impossible to comprehend the existence of one without the other.
