Titan(planet)

This page is about the Za'aan Imperium capital planet.

When the Za’aan travelled to the Wrendas Galaxy soon after it was formed, about 13 billion years ago they stumbled upon the first planet to fully form, they named it Titan after a Za’aan mythological hero.
In orbit of Titan is one of three gigantic Titanus class Starbases, so named after the planet. On board this one station alone lives over a quarter of a million people, ranging from soldiers to scientists, from civilians to entrepreneurs, each one living their normal lives as if they were on a planet.
Titan is deep within Rian Republic space, several thousand light years from the border.
The weather on Titan is controlled by a planetary environmental control network, sometimes called a Weather Modification Network. This network works by extracting harmful elements from the atmosphere, including Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and destroys them, or turns them into usable/safe elements. The net also prevents natural disasters from occurring in populated areas.
Titan is an ecumenopolis, or planet wide city. A good example would be Trantor, written in Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series.
