Totoro (トトロ) - A grey, friendly forest spirit, at least three meters tall. Totoro is a mispronunciation of torōru, Japanese for troll. There are two similar, smaller breeds, also referred to as totoro; the large grey Totoro is known as a "Ō-Totoro", the medium-build blue Totoro is known as a "Chū-Totoro", and the small white breed is known as "Chibi-Totoro".
