Wikipedia: Trade Unions are organisations designed to benefit or aide the 'working class'; usualy in just one country or even just one company. There are few international trade unions.

Trade unions have excisted for over three-hundred years in the modern world and their objectives, aims and actions can include:

  • Benefits - activly helping the genuinely disadvantaged unemployed in any-given charity. Such actions are akin to charities.
  • Collective Bargaining - by discussing via meetings and other diplomatic actions the improvement of the workers in any given company or country
  • Industrial Action - 'Anarcho-Syndacalism' - to go on strike or to refuse to work (even using violence) so to bring about better working conditions
  • Political Activity - Donating or helping political parties under the agreement the party will adhere to at least some of the 'unions goals.
