Consisting of both megacorporations (whose net worth, purchasing power, influence and other factors meet certain requirements) and geophysical territories, the TNE's members are allotted votes, the amount of which is in continual market flux, which can then be used up in votes, saved, invested or traded. It is the main legislative body governing Santa Barbara, and it's elected Chairman is the supreme executive of the nation.

History

Founded three decades before the rise of Bob Pratt, it wasn't until during and after the breakup of the CoFedCo that the TNE became the ruling body of the nation and it's corporations.

Technically a mere legislative governmental body, the TNE's power grew as the free trade ideals stated by Heinrid Abadas and the Order of the Invisible Hand lead to market dominance. A weakened central government left behind by the PrattCo Conglomerate contributed to Abadas's inability to prevent the TNE from becoming the ultimate lawmaking entity within the nation, until a decree passed which placed executive command of the ITDO in the direct hands of the TNE rulings.

A power struggle ensued, during which the TNE was momentarily taken off-line by Abadas's administration. However, because at this time the Noachian Rebellion further weakened his position and credibility, and the TNE was restored when he was forced out of office by Marcos Fernando.

As corporate entities began being bought up by foreign investors, the governance of Santa Barbara continued to decentralize, ultimately leading to the dissolution of the Corporate Federal Conglomerate.

• 1-A The TNE polities shall vote as part of CoFedCo Presidential election every 5 years.
• 2-A The current CoFedCo President, if not re-elected, shall step down from office 30 days after the election.
• 3-A Federal Laws 456A,456B,459 (the National Police Authority Codes) and 563 (Gay Marriage) shall be repealed.
• 4-A Federal Law 122 (the ITDO Liege Tax) shall be repealed.
• 5-A Federal Laws 571-592 (the Procensorship Laws) shall be repealed.
• 6-A The TNE shall administer and command the ITDO.
