Trilan is the capital city of Kura-Pelland, and the largest city on the continent of Vircais. It is to host the final of World Cup 38, to take place in Kura-Pelland and Vephrall.

The city lies on the River Mura, which was a national border until the unification of Kura and Pelland. The war-torn city was assigned the status of capital and radically rebuilt, and both the city and nearby towns experienced massive population booms to the point where they are now effectively merged into one city of six million people. Economic boom means that growth is still continuing.

Central to the city are riverside developments such as the Unity Complex, consisting of an arena, museum and office blocks linked by glass bridges, and the massive circular railway hub Trilan Centrepoint.

Trilan was subject to a terrorist attack from rebels of former colony Zyla; bombs exploded on a train leaving the city airport and in a car park close to White Hope Stadium, the national stadium of Kura-Pelland. The bombs were believed to have been planned to coincide with Kura-Pelland's home match against Zyla, which Zyla unexpectedly won. The White Hope Stadium is to be replaced with a new stadium in the north-west of the city, Shanvley Stadium, which will have a capacity in excess of 90,000 and host the World Cup 38 final.
