Twelve Thousand Immortals

The Twelve Thousand Immortals, so named because their number of 12,000 was immediately reestablished after every loss. Under the direct leadership of a Lord Fieldmarshal, the Immortals, who formed the Tararan’s personal bodyguard, consisted primarily of Tomanians but also included Haraadhrim and Laiquendi.

Historically, the Immortals were the most feared men in all of Gemini Exterro, their brutality and jingoistic fanaticism was known across the known world, their skill with sword and bow was matched by none. Dressed in silver armor and golden helmets, with long coats of mail, and tunics blessed by the Tararan, they had golden arrow and a silver bow, three daggers lined in diamonds, also they adorned themselves with Tomanian katanas.

Today, Immortals only adorn themselves in traditional armor during certain ceremonies and events. Like the Avarathûl, the Immortals have special training camps and privileges, though, unlike the Avarathul, Immortals are not directed by the state, but by the crown. During the Acrananian Invasion, the Immortals were the second infantry to be sent in and had reported losses of three.
