Leadership

The UN Building Management is run by its Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is made up of the head of the 12 departments (or an appointed representative) that make up the management and the President and CEO.

Board of Directors

The Departments & what they do

President & CEO

The President & CEO (while not technically a department) is the highest position in the UN Building Management hierarchy. He (or she) has the power to make emergency decisions between meetings of the board of directors and can override any decisions made by the board.

Senior Vice President of the Senior Management

The Senior Vice President of the Senior Management is the second highest position and can make executive decisions when the President & CEO is unable to be reached.

Human Resources

The Human Resources department is in charge of all hirings and firings that take place

Legal

The Legal department takes care of any legal needs that may crop up. This department has been almost completely outsourced to the NSUN Lawyers as a cost cutting measure.

Accounting

The Accounting department is responsible for ensuring that the books balance and that all bills are paid on time.

Financial Security

Their job is to ensure that the accounting department has the funds they need to do their job.

Maintence

The Maintence department bears the burden of keeping the basic functions of the UN Building functioning.

IT

They have the unenviable job of making sure that all of the computers remain functional. They're also responsible for maintaining the big board in the General Assembly.

Maintence of Order Department

The Maintence of Order Department is responsible for maintaining order through out the UN building. Through the use of their Maintence of Order Department Squads (M.O.D.S.) they insure that any nation found to be violating the rules of the UN are swiftly dealt with.

Janitorial Services

The Janitorial Services department is responsible for cleaning the entire UN building daily, a task which is never done since there are nations conducting business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Supplies & Logistics

The Supplies & Logistics department is in charge of obtaining and distributing all supplies needed by all the tenants of the building.

Directory Maintence

This department, consisting of a single person, has the overwhelming task of keeping the UN building directory up to date.

Communications

The Comunications department is one of the most vital, if not the most vital department of them all. They're responsible for providing translators so that all of the diplomats can understand one another. They also coordinate with the UN Gnomes to send out telegrams whenever the UN passes a resolution.
