There are various universities in Zwangzug: college education is free to all students. In the past, they have been "full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights"; a subsidy has made medical study common as well.

DU is probably Zwangzug's most difficult university to enter: instead of admissions exams, one must prove their mountaineering worth by entering from above. Further instruction, under the presidency of Mae Franklin, follows for all qualifying students.
