Universitus Island is the largest island in the Domzian Archipelago, a group of ten islands situated to the east of the Jevian State of Domz. The island is a property of Universitus, the Quaternary Education facility of The Allied Empire of Jey. Universitus Island was purchased by Universitus from the Jevian Government when the island was decided to be excluded from the natural park which previously had prevented its purcahse by private firms. After several arbitration cases, the final price for the island purchase was decided at $75 billion dollars. The campaign to raise the money to purchase the island was led by Malthus Aroli, head of the Mission to Establish Universitus in the Domzian Archipelago.

Presently, many consider Universitus Island to be the simply largest "U-Club" in the world, however there are many plans to add an academic aspect to the very large island. While recreational purposes are considered to be the primary benefit that the island serves, numerous research facilities have been planned for construction in the next few years. Nevertheless, Universitus Island continues to be a very common and frequented vacation spot for many Universians.
