The University of Kingston is a research-intensive and highly-reputed university in Kelssek. One of Kelssek's oldest universities, it was established in 1841 by a Royal Charter for the education of Presbytarian ministers, although today it is non-sectarian. The university is known for having a very strong medical program.

The densely packed campus, in downtown Kingston on the shore of Lake Konoha, is renowned for its old limestone buildings and unique romanesque revival and neo-gothic architecture. One notable alumnus is Bruce Ryan, the current Speaker of the House of Commons.
