University of Merlefurt

The University of Merlefurt is the oldest and most distinguished university in Gruenberg. Located in the coastal city of Merlefurt, it has attracted international renown for its teaching and research, something of a rarity for Gruenberger educational institutions.

The university operates a collegiate system.

Elkham College

Elkham is the third oldest university college, and is known as one of the most exclusive.

Pottes College

Pottes is the only all-female college. Alumni include Lori Jiffjeff.

UMSU

The University of Merlefurt Students' Union is part of the Gruenberg National Students' Union. In theory it protects and advocates the rights of students at the university, but is mainly concerned in reality with hosting cheap piss-ups.

Mefu

The Mefu is the daily newspaper of the University of Merlefurt. It is written and edited entirely by students, but subject to rigorous university and state censorship.
