My Nations

I stumbled across NationStates nearly a year and a half ago, and I've been hooked on the site since. My current and most recently founded nation is the Republican Commonwealth of New Calharope; when I first signed up, my original nation was the People's Direct Democracy of Calharope, which was located in Liberal Paradise. (Calharope was wiped from the face of the earth earlier this year, though it may return from the dead shortly).

About Me

My governance of New Calharope is in rough accord with my own political and philosophical views, which accurately suggests that I'm a socially liberal, but more moderate on economic issues. While the consequences of NationStates issues may be quite exaggerated and over-simplified compared to the consequences of issues in real life, I've found the game provides interesting food for thought in my consideration of my own political and philosophical positions.
