The Vuam and Isma Novi Supei (often referred to as the Lig Novi Supei Ch'Iraza for sponsorship/legal reasons) is the fourth highest division of the Vuam and Isma football league system, directly after the Vuam and Isma Duodivie.

The Novi Supei was created in 2006, at the same time as the Topplig [1]. As the top clubs left the New Cyberia footballing tutelage, they created the Novi Supei and the Novi Infe, to encourage smaller clubs to join the national league system, instead of the previous regional league systems. 48 clubs were accepted by the Vuam and Isma fédération d'football and the Associi de Clube to be part of the two leagues, and were regrouped in the Football Gruppe.

Structure

There are 24 teams in the Vuam and Isma Novi Supei. Each team plays the other 23 twice (once at home, once away) and is awarded three points for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss. From these points a league table is constructed. At the end of each season the top three teams, together with the winner of the play-offs between the teams which finished in 4rd-7th position, are promoted to the Vuam and Isma Duodivie and are replaced by the four teams that finished at the bottom of that league. Similarly the two teams which finished at the bottom of the Vuam and Isma Novi Supei are relegated to the Vuam and Isma Novi Infe and are replaced by the team which finished 1st, and the team which won the 2rd-5th place play-off in that division.

Final league position is determined firstly by points obtained, then by goal difference, then goals scored, then goal average, and if necessary, a mini-league of the results between two or more teams ranked using the previous three criteria and finally a series of one or more play off matches.

Sponsorship

Since 2006, the Vuam and Isma Novi Supei has been sponsored. The sponsor has been able to determine the league's sponsorship name. However, the sponsor must include the word "Supei" in the name. The list below details who the sponsors have been and what they called the competition:

  • 2006–Current: Iraza Motor Industris (Lig Novi Supei ch'Iraza)

Foreign player rulings

The Vuam and Isma Novi Supei has sevral eligibility factors that concern foreign players:

  • A player that is not a Vuam and Isma national requires a work permit to be eligible for any match in the Novi Supei.
  • Clubs competing in the Novi Supei may not contract a player that is not a Vuam and Isma national unless the player is over 16, and has recieved a work permit from the competent Vuam and Isma authorities.

Broadcasting rights

The Vuam and Isma Novi Supei negociates each season contracts with television companies, newspapers, radio stations and websites to determine the duration of each "media-exclusive" duration. Whilst the average television exclusivity is 0 hours after the end of the match (generally the longest in any media), medias have longer or shorter exclusivity deals, the shortest being the internet exclusivity, usually -45 minutes, meaning that exclusivity runs out at half-time.

Novi Supei Customs

In the Novi Supei, each club must choose a home and away kit for each season. However, clubs have the right, if the opposing club aggrees, to play in another kit, and even change kit at half-time. This often leads to confusion for those who are not familiar with the teams and the styles of play each team uses. However, most clubs will only change kit for exceptional events, such as anniversaries of the club.
