The Repubblica of Valori.

A nation devoted to Individualism, Conservatism, Capitalism, supply-side economics, limited government, business entrepreneurship, and a laissez-faire government.

Government.

The Repubblica of Valori is run by four governing powers and one lesser assembly. The Executive Branch - i.e. The President of Valori-, The Senate, The House of Representatives, and the Judiciary Branch - Headed by the Supreme Court-, are the four governing powers. In order for legislature to national law, the legislature must first go to the House of Representatives to be voted on. If the legislature meets the necessary requirements through the voting process, it is then sent to the Senate. Like the House of Representatives, the legislature must reach the necessary votes through quorum in order to carry on. Once both the House of Representatives and the Senate have passed a piece of legislature it is then sent to the Executive. When in the Executive, the piece of legislature can either be decided on or dismissed and removed from the government books until further notice.

The Judiciary Branch decides on all arguments within two or more people. When an argument arises, that requires federal involvement, whether it be over legal disputes or disputes that cannot come to a decision, the case is brought before the judiciary where the conclusion is decided. Once a conclusion to a case is decided it can either be closed permanently, or it can be taken to a higher court. This process can occur until it reaches the Supreme Court. Once a case has reached a Supreme Court and been voted on, the conclusion is final. The Supreme Court also decides whether laws follow the Charter of Valori.

Military.

The Valorian Military has 4 Public branches. These branches are Esercito Italiano (Army), Marina Militare (Navy), Aeronautica Militare (Air Force), and Carabinieri (Military Police). The Ranks are as follows;

Economy.

When Valori was first created as a sovereign body, the economy survived through internal means. The people of Valori had migrated to the nation after being persecuted for their beliefs in the nation of Libertaville, which is since deceased. Due to this fear of others, Valori presidents had originally decided that they would create an internal economy by growing any and all crops they needed to survive, and by using the native game population to feed themselves.

After Valori had been a competent nation for what is estimated to be 1000 years, they begin inter-national trade. Due to the large fish and game populations, Valori was able to keep itself safe from a ruined economy by only trading what was necessary to the government or people. Eventually, another 650 years passed and Valori had an unmatchable economy and a steadily growing Automobile industry.

Now, the economy is steady and cannot grow any more. The people continue to work hard in order and there is no welfare program. All Valorians are educated and they the job economy is booming and while the tax rates shift depending on the issues at hand it is generally under 20%.

Culture.

Valori is a very cultured nation. Unlike most modern nations, Valorian males are still raised from a young age to be virile and masculine but they are also expected to go to the Males Governor's School to learn the ways of Chivalry. Like the men, women are also expected to Governor's School (The Females School) although, they are taught to be feminine, and the ways of a lady, while still being intellectually challenged. Due to the fact that gender roles are inexistent, both sexes are taught to provide for a family both economically and socially.

In Valori, Music and Dance are the two most creative outputs for citizens. In Governor's School and in Universities students are expected to be professionally capable in the national instrument, an acoustic guitar, and the national dance, the Tango. However, often students learn the national requirements as well as a chosen instrument and dance. Yearly parades are held in the streets of Valori where the citizens just dance and sing.

The Food in Valori is often carbohydrate based. Most Valorians eat at least 6 courses a meal; Antipasti (Appetizers), Primi Piatti (First Courses), Secondi Piatti (Entrees) with Contorni (Vegetables or Side Dishes), Insalata (Salad), Frutta (Fruit), and finally Dolci (Desserts). Obviously, meals generally take a minimum of one hour to eat and generally in a Valorian home both the Husband and Wife are expected to help prepare the meal. Also, the wines generally vary course to course, accompanying each course with the best wine to bring out the best flavors of the food.

The President.

The President of Valori, Antonio Masticoverre, was born in Riomaggiore, Cinque Terre, Italia to the previous President of Valori, Gianfranco Masticoverre. Because his father was President, Antonio grew up around politics and from a young age he had a knack for it. When he turned 15, Gianfranco began allowing his son to accompany him to political discussions and by age 17, Antonio knew more about politics then the whole of his father's cabinent. On January 21st, one month after Antonio turned 18 years old, he beat his father in the presidential elections and from that point on he has been doing his absolute best for his nations.
