Vegard Øvreli (born 19. May 1954), is a Skatvalian conservative politican, and leader of The Skatvalian Conservative Party, which is a national branch of the regional conservative party. Øvreli was Prime Minister of Skatval from 1998 to 2006.
Øvreli became leader of the party in 1998, and took the position as Prime Minister in 1998, after Kåre Skithustrøen went ill. Øvreli won the election in 2000. He was re-elected in 2004, and stayed in office untill 2006, when he understood that the job had taken his life. Øvreli was replaced with Andreas Wogt, a typhical nobleman. Øvreli's cabinet was formed together with The Royalistic Patriot Party.
