Velks Vagen, or VV, is an automobile manufacturer based in Cherbourg Province, St Samuel. The company was founded in 1929 by Otto Van Velk, a half Hungarian-Samuelonian engineer.


History

Velks Vagen was founded in 1929 by Otto Van Velk, a half Hungarian-Samuelonian engineer, in the city of Véoncy, Cherbourg Province, St Samuel. Velks Vagen by the 1950's had built up a reputation as being a sturdy and reliable automobile manufacturer, with the target audience being the 'working man.'

By the late 1960's VV was the nation's top selling vehicle, with the VV Pioro series the most popular. But the company began to suffer in the 80's and by 1990 were having to close factories after facing bankruptcy with huge debts. In 1991, Bazalonian business man, Sir Jack Thornton bought the struggling Velks Vagen and by 2000 Velks Vagen was once more a leading brand in the St Samuel automobile industry.
