Famous Vilitan Families

Banda

The Banda Brothers, only in retrospect, are Symbolic of the nations of Vilita & Turori. Born of mixed Vilita & Turori nationality, Callum Banda was invited to the Vilitan Under-21 squad for Under-21 World Cup 2. This would be the start of a long and historic career leaving Banda as the leading all time scorer for Vilita, and one of the top strikers in the history of the NS World Cup. Older brother Mauritus was never seriously considered when Vilita entered the World Cup in the 13th edition. However, the success of Callum was certainly influential in the decision of the Football Association of Turori to selecting Mauritus Banda as their captain and striker for their inagural campaign, the World Cup 15 Baptism of Fire Cup and World Cup 15.

Mumamba

Like the Banda's, the Mumamba brothers were also mixed Vilita & Turori nationality. However, it was Lorenzo, the older brother, who was selected for the inagural Vilita National Team in World Cup 13, with Malaino earning his recognition through Turori in World Cup 15. The two brothers have seen varying levels of success, with older brother Lorenzo being pushed out of the Vilita side by younger talent, while Malaino would go on to become one of the most capped players in Turorian history, and lead an impressive domestic career. The two brothers re-united when the nations of Vilita & Turori combined for the first time in regional competition for AOCAF XVI. They finished the job off properly, winning the AOCAF competition in fine style with a convincing win over Lamoni in the final, held in Lamoni.

Oaker

Arthin Oaker was a long standing player in the Vilitan Leagues, although never being a star on the domestic stage, Oaker was a starter for his Nation, Oaker. Oaker met a wife in Vilita while playing for Colonial Sile in the Vilitan League. His son, Jawz, would train at cross-town rivals Makosile as a Goalkeeper. Eligible for both the Oaker and Vilita national teams, Jawz claimed there was little choice to make, having been born and raised on Turoki Isle, Vilita. Making his debut at the regional level, Jawz earned his international debut just before the Vilitan dark ages. Some believe that Oaker, or one of his relatives, is the anonymously known Goalkeeper of the Vilitan National Team for World Cup 30.
