The Jerkstore of Vox Augusti

National History: Created in early 2004, The Jerkstore of Vox Augusti is unique. It is headed by Vox Augusti, who serves as its representation on the Senate of The New Meritocracy. Vox Augusti acts also as a "leader" of the nation, but acts more to resolve disputes than to wield power.

The Jerkstore of Vox Augusti was initially located in the West Pacific. It enjoyed a brief stint in Iceland. It was recruited to join Galts Gulch, where it remained for >2 years. In October 2006, it relocated to The New Meritocracy, upon the acceptance of Vox Augusti into the Senate of The New Meritocracy.

Everyone within the nation enjoys the first name of Vox. Collectively, more than one Vox is referred to as Voces. The nation renames itself upon the election of a new leader. It is rumored that Vox Julii will succeed Vox Augusti, one day.

History of the man Vox Augusti

Vox Augusti, while in Galts Gulch, served as the Minister of the Interior, reviewing the constitution, writing the bylaws, and authoring the code of conduct. As Galts Gulch crumbled, Vox may claim to still hold that position, but it is of little importance.

Vox Augusti ran for Tribune in late 2006, eventually withdrawing to allow Eli and Objectivist Chimpz to run. Subsequently, Vox Augusti ran for Patrician Judicialis, and was elected a week before the position of Patrician was eliminated from the government. Vox was then appointed Deputy Tribune under Objectivist Chimpz.
