The Disputed Territories of Vulneris is a geographically large nation, where the oppression of its ever-growing population seems neverending. The Vulnerian government is sprawling, invasive, and domineering, yet is oddly heavily involved in all matters of spirituality. The Lady (or Lord, accordingly) Ruler, the government head of Vulneris, is a hereditary title. The du Shalon family has run Vulneris since long before the Vulnerian borders were even finalized. Often referred to as the Reigning Seat, the current Lady Ruler is Jessamyn Ralin du Shalon.

The military, the orginization known as the Intellbryn, is a formidable force. Members' loyalty is unquestionable. Force is authorized in every situation. It is broken down into several division, e.g the Cercle du Feu - infantry and enforcers, the Ryuter en Fahnt - intelligence, etc. The Lord Commander is not a hereditary title, but the position is currently held by Lord Commander Shaun Pollox du Shalon, twin brother to the Lady Ruler.

To date, Vulneris has held a strictly internal national interest, showing little regard for surrounding nations and political happenings. Recent activity, however, points to a shifting attention to the Vulnerian status in the world entire.

Factually - the national animal is the Neuenfeldt, commonly known as the Neuey. The Neuey is an exquisite wild steed and is a protected species in the land. Known poaching of the creature is treated harshly and terminally, being one of the many crimes in Vulernis that will result in the death penalty. The national currency is the rhumba. The Vulnerian Treasury has a proud history of being steadfast, and there are no known periods of depression in history.
