WRS Big Brother is a popular reality TV show produced by and broadcast in White-Rose and Sabrateur. The contestants must live together in the WRS Big Brother House (which is alternately decorated in yellow or green each series), complete tasks set by the anonymous 'Big Brother' and are voted out by the public until only one remains to take the final prize.

Format

Contestants

Many people vie to be a contest on WRS Big Brother, and so many applications are recieved that not everyone gets a place, despite later series featuring 50 contestants. Contestants must not have been on any reality TV show before, exceptions being contestants who were previously in WRS Big Brother and Andy Abraham due to administrative error. Contestants do not have to be a single person; many duos and triplets have competed such as Danny and Melissa, Tilly, Tom and Tiny and Status Quo. A duo or triplet will be treated as one contestant, and therefore all must do the task/recieve a Friday Prize/be evicted at the same time.

People Who Didn't Quite Make It

Each day, a notable person who didn't make it onto the final show is selected to be profiled. Many of the 'People Who Didn't Quite Make It' get into the next series, however some are veterans to the shortlist i.e Jim from Range. From Series 4 onwards, at the end of a series a random person out of the 'People Who Didn't Quite Make It' would be drawn, and they would win free passage to the next Big Brother series, where they would compete as a housemate. There was controversy after Huw Edwards won such a prize in 2006 but did not feature in the next series.

Tasks

Each day, a task is set. This is usually to be done by one random contestant, but some tasks have required up to the whole house taking part. In early series, contestants would have to bet awkward percentages of their shopping budget on the task but this was soon abandoned. After this, tasks often had no consequence. However, occasionally there would be an individual reward at stake, or sometimes even an eviction twist.

Evictions

A contestant is evicted each day except Friday, where a double eviction takes place. Sometimes evictions are delayed and stack up, the most notable instance being where eleven contestants were evicted as Bedroom 3 blasted off into space. Evictions are generally drawn randomly, although there may be eviction twists such as the bedsit of Series 3.

Friday Prizes

Since Series 4, a random contestant has been drawn to win a special prize each Friday to brighten up the house atmosphere. Notable prizes have included a pair of pink pants (won by Bowser) and a Selection Box signed by Dave Cadbury (won by John Virgo).
