Physical geography

Warick contains a good deal of mature woodland. Among its many notable beauty spots are Lewis Hill, St Matthews Hill, Longman Ponds, Newlands Forest and Georgina Common. It is the most wooded province in St Samuel, with 22% coverage compared to a national average of 11% and as such is one of the few provinces to not include new woodlands in their strategic plans.

Much of Warick is in the Green Belt and is rolling downland, the county's geology being dominated by the chalk hills of the Arimtia Downs. Agriculture not being intensive, there are many commons and access lands, together with an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways including the Arimtia Downs Way, a scenic long-distance path. Accordingly, Warick provides much in the way of rural leisure activities, with a very large horse population. Towards the north of the province, the land is largely flat as it reaches the north coast.

The highest point in Surrey is Lewis Hill near Ottingthorpe at 965 ft (294 m) above sea level.
