Warren University is considered to be the finest college in all of Hallevor. It has a campus built around an old Falforean Cathedral which has since turned into the library and meeting grounds of debaters and intellectuals. The campus is wide and still has up old statues of Falforean Emperors, Kings, and Bishops. Despite the fact that few of the students who go to the University aren't Atheist, the religious groups were able to persuade the administration to add a new Church. Most students who have gone to this school tend to have a pride about it and come to reunions frequently.

In 1397 an Archbishop known as Theuderic I from the Catholic Church ordered a University be built in Warren (at the time called Aninham). The University build a grand cathedral and build a large university around it. In 1764, way ahead of it's time, the University begun to admit both boys and girls. It wasn't until 1790 that Deists and other non-christians could join. In the late 19th century, it was the first school to have a secret Communist society which would eventually be the leading group in the Communist take over. In 1940s it was also the first school to have a secret Minarchist society. The Minarchist society also became prominent in the Freedom War. The society's leader was also the first Prime Minister of Minarchist Hallevor, William Miller.

The university's motto, Lux et Veritas Floreant, can be translated to mean "Let light and truth flourish". The university's president, Professor Clarence Bardot, claims that it was the last words of Theuderic I which became famous through out the city.
