Washington D.C. is the capital of the nation of Colodia. Before Colodia took control of D.C., it was simply another abandonded city up for grabs by the nation that owned it. Along with the states of West Virginia and Virginia, Colodia claimed Washington D.C. However, Maryland is still controlled by Sevaris, and Colodia is hoping to change that to either themselves, or a more friendly nation.

Colodian historians say that Washington D.C. was the former capitol of an extremely powerful nation years ago. There were four significant buildings when Colodians claimed D.C. that were still standing. The Lincoln Memorial, Capitol Hill, The Pentagon, and The White House. The Lincoln Memorial is now where the Supreme Court resides. Capitol Hill is where Congress gathers to make their legislative decisions, The Pentagon is where military officials gather to make their decisions that affect the world. And finally, The White House is the office and the house of the President and his family. It is also the most protected building in Colodia. Yadda yadda yadda....

History

Scientists are not completly sure as to what Washington D.C. was formerly used for, but most argue that it was the capitol of an older nation many years ago, for the grand buildings tell it off. It seems that there was no giant battle that ended the nation's fall, but simply an internal problem that caused the city to be abandonded.
