If one ever visits the off-site forum of the West Pacific or spots a conversation in progress on its regional HQ, one may come across an array of in-jokes that has given The West Pacific a distinct dialect. The following is a list of some common phrases for the traveller.

A Hataria

  • Any RP post that is so ridicules as to invoke memories of the one who is considered the worst RPer every to grace both the On-site and Off-site boards

A Sinopic Argument

  • An argument that by the end has you hitting your head against a brick wall

Attempted take over of the WP club

  • Refering to the many nations that have unsucsesfully tried to take over the democraticly elected WP government.
  • This phrase was brought to terms during the "golden age" of TWP.

Banject

  • (noun)Used as an idol threat in jest for the process of banning some one from the West Pacific off-site boards. Used often by The Shotgun Seat
  • Used as a real threat of Banning to a particular annoying member of the off-site boards

Bite

  • Shortened form of the player Biteland's name

CAEK!!!!!!!!11!!111oneoneone one

  • Better then cake. CAKE is it's own food.
  • Has to be written in upper-case and usually has sever "!" following it.
  • Who started it? Most don't know, including me who is writing this. - It is a term from The East Pacific/Loop creole.
  • The Term originated When Loop played Phantasy Star Online as an accident by a friend during a mission. 
*Caek may ge EETen or GETed, (Caek GET, and EET Caek)
  • Also, it is properly spelled Caek, the Emphasis word (GET or EET or BAEK) is always the only one Capitolized
  • the Total emphasis placed on the phrase is indicated by the Punctuation, of "!"'s and "1"'s the 1's must always out number the !'s

ConComI, ConComII

  • Constitutional Conventions, number 1 and 2. The first (ConComI) was allowed under the Delegate Norion, creating the first constitutional government of the West Pacific. It was attended by these countries: The Rightly Guided Republic of Berhampore, The Republic of Freedom and Pride, The Free Republic of Napcoland, The Free Land of Jiredy, The People's Republic of ZetaOne, The Deific Exquisite Suzerainty of Kurdazistan, The United Commonwealth of Biteland, The Insane Nudist Colony of LadyRebels. A constitution had long been pushed by the Freedom and Pride, but the Convention was finally called under the pressure of NapcoLand, ZetaOne and Berhampore. It was completed January 20, 2004.
  • The legendary battles between F&P and Ber characterized the first ConCom, along with the gigantic postzillas. The result was said by one pundit to 'read like stero instructions'. But hallmarks of modern WP government were produced in the document, including the 50 endorsement rule for government particpation, the three month election cycle and major limits to the power of the Delegate.
  • The ConComII was called by Berhampore upon taking the Delegacy, due to the non-adoption of the first Constitution by the previous government, several aspects of that constitution that proved to be unworkable, and the general climate of 'change' that was desired after the upheavals.
  • ConComII was attended by , The Free Speech Haven of Lanier (Chair), The Democratic Republic of Ineedsleep, The Republic of Freedom and Pride, The Blue Oval Empire of The Shotgun Seat, The Principality of The Acutely Obtuse, The Federation of Biyah, The Enigmatic Empire of Minineenee, The Egalitarian Haven of Sinopia, The United Commonwealth of BIteland, The Protectorate of Clockwork Isle, The Federation of Gouwe, The Constitutional Monarchy of Florestan - most of which have become legends in the WP. It was formally adopted on June 30, 2004

Country Music

  • Some wierd musical form found playing in the homes of the Minineeneees

Chocolate Guard Bunnies

  • The security of the Cabinet hall
  • This phrase was big during the "golden age" of TWP

Defense Ministry Budget Meeting

  • Also known as a "burger run"

Doner

  • Used in the sequence "done, done, and doner" it means the last done needed to be done.
  • Coined by Eli in TWP FA Forums

Drive by chat

"Dude wheres my Post", " Oh look a Scapegoat, it must be election time"**this motto has been removed due to regional security**"

  • Refering to the time towards the end of Norion's reign when posts 'disappeared' on a regular baisis

"He Spells as bad as Biteland"

  • i.e. not very well
  • This phrase is odd due to the fact that F&P is known as the worse TWP speller

F&P/ FandP

Grandfather

  • Other name for the player Biyah, coined by The Acutely Obtuse for both Biyah's Avatar (of an old wizard) and his NS-Age (Being active in the FoCA Era)

Golden Age

  • Refers to the the nearly two years that The West Pacific was run under the second constitution. It is often considered to be TWP's most successful years where it was considered by many to be one of the top places to be. Of course in TWP it was THE place to be.
  • A.K.A. Golden Era, trouble free TWP, and other things of the sort.

Hank/ TSS

  • Other names used for the player The Shotgun Seat

Ind**d

  • The censored form of the word Indeed; the use of this word is not recommended as it will most likely lead to the wrath of Minineenee. The most noted offender is BIteland.

Mr. Plan B

  • A term that now encompasses any Regent

New Shotgun Order (NSO)

  • "The NSO is the beginning, and the end. It is the wind on a summer day, and the feeling you get when seeing true love for the first time. The NSO is freedom, it is life. To know the essence of the NSO is to know the meaning of life."


New TAO Order (NTO)

  • Ficticious invader/defender organization lead by The Acutely Obtuse. It was created during the Warzone Sandbox wars against Carinthe. As reparations for losing the war, Carinthe had to provide TAO with a never ending supply of Dutch-Cholocate milkshakes made from half&half instead of that 2% crap

Ninee, Neenee, Mrs PM, The Radiant Beauty of the West Pacific

  • All terms for the current Prime Minister Minineenee. Commonly used by Biteland, ZetaOne and The Shotgun Seat.
  • Please watch out, she does have glitter that burns when she glitters you.


Norionistas

  • Devoted followers of the Delegate Norion who were very active on the old WP forum(s), as well as foreign forums.

Old Boy's Club

  • Keyed near the end of the Golden Age, and still used today, refers to when people started claiming and recognizing that TWP was being run mostly by a small group of people. It should be noted that while this is true the group that was in the Old Boy's Club did run TWP during the Golden Age.

PM's Magical Wand

  • The Wand used by the former Prime Minister Minineenee

Post Whore

  • Term used (rather affectionately) to describe Zetaone who held the most posts in the forums the longest (For almost 2 and half years).

Postzilla(s)

  • Posts that are so long and wordy that you have to scroll usually more than once to read them fully.
  • This term became well known between the ComComI members. Freedom and Pride is the best at making them.

QuickieP

  • It is a quick party that happens in IM and chats.
  • It happens when someone comes back from being away. A person will say "WOO! *QuickieP*" Then, everyone says something like "Woo this is cool" then once everyone get a line in someone says "*End QuickieP* and everyone says how great it was. After that you return to normal business.
  • Started by ZetaOne when Minineenee would come back from a "brb"

RP Mod Stick

  • Used as a treat of the use of Moderation by the moderator in the role play forums

Pull an F&P

  • To max out one's signature with as many personal kudos as possible

Remote (Thingy) / Super Duper Remote Thingy

  • Origionally Zetaone's creation as a fun toy, it quickly became a tool in friendly attacking. The Remote was upgrated by Napcoman as a gift he called it the Super Duper Remote Thingy.

TAO

Tar and Feathering

  • (verb)What many members talk of doing if they were to find some of the regional headquarters spammers
  • It is carried out by an eleborate decripition, maybe a paragraph or two, of the act, normally culminating in the application of a rubber glove on the head of vicitim (the author of a spamvertizement) to simulate the cockscomb, and the delivery of the victim to the delievery door of the chicken resaurtant of your choice. Usually KFC; althought the Cocoroo Chicken across the street from the La Brea Tar Pits is also a popular spot.

The Map Nuke

TSS manuever

  • Using uncanny cleverness to describe someone using a quote, most often in the Randomly describe the Above Poster Thread. The term is first credited to ZetaOne. Has a few variants, such as the TAO manuver, which uses altered quotes.

Z1K

  • Named after offical post whore ZetaOne, the first to hit 1000 posts on the West Pacific's offsite forum. Players that hit 1000 posts are offically put into the Z1K Club.
  • Z1K is also called ZetaMark
