Westergate

Westergate is the second-largest suburb of Ianapalis, following only Pentonbridge. Located north-east of Dun Sadora and south-west of St Martin. As the city has grown, the line where 'Ianapalis' ends and 'Westergate' begins has blurred. One of the primary reasons for this is the location of the Westergate Footballing Grounds, where the Iansislean national football team plays its matches. The Footballing Grounds is located in the extreme south-eastern corner of Westergate, though most of the fans who flock to Ians games are from Ianapalis, and they often take up to weeks to return home after a particularly emotional game.

Until the Gull Flag Revolution, Westergate was directly ruled by the Philip Clayburgh, Ninth Marquess of Westergate, responsible to the King of the Shield. After the Revolution, Westergate fell under the authority of the High Mayor of Ianapalis, further blurring the line between the two communities.
