William Gregory Miller is a former Prime Minister of The Republic of Hallevor. He is the first Prime Minister since the Revolution against the Communist Government. He died before the state of Hallevor was set up sufficiently.
Background
Born as a product of rape between a peasant woman and a soldier, Miller from a young age had a negative view of the state. His mother died when he was only two and he was taken into an orphanage and educated. At age thirteen he and the entire orphanage started a small anti-statist party. William Miller read smuggled books by Ayn Rand and quickly became an Objectivist. At age fifteen, he turned his Anti-Government Party into the Objectivist Party.
A Soldier
The Government started to attack the Objectivist Party for going against Communist agenda. They were labeled as Anti-Proletarian and in 1963 order "Dictum NX8974" which stated that all members to the Objectivist Party were to be shot on sight. After meeting George Hunter, the Objectivist Party joined with the "Soldiers Against Tyranny" (SAT) to create the Hallevoric Front of Liberty (HFL). William Miller declared war on the State in 1966 and became one of the most famous soldiers in the army. He became a major hero to the cause when in 1972 he single handedly captured an enemy fort. He killed and injured 174 soldiers and captured 128 others, with nothing but a hand gun and a shotgun.
In 1976, unbeknownst to him, Graham was assassinated. When Miller heard the news he instantly placed orders and marched on the old palace and tore it down. He had a new city build, Nyrenton, named after one of the early Objectivist thinkers. He then moved to start a new Minarchist Government.
Political Roles
A tragically short political role, William Miller lined out a constitution and a plan for the government. He also wrote out a plan for senate and helped people settle into the post-communist economy. He's best known for founding the Hallevoric Stock Market and the Hallevoric Police Force.
Death
While walking to work one day, a sniper shot William Miller. He was shot straight through the temple and killed instantly. The sniper was never caught, although evidence points to it being a subject of Graham. He is currently burried infront of the capital, under a granite tomb with a poem of his duty.
