The Winchestia Pro League (WPL) was founded after public clamoring for a national league was caused by the professionalism or near-professionalism of 2 teams Wendle City FC of the Wendle City League and Market Motors FC of the Higgleton League. As professional teams in amateur leagues, both were very dominant. The teams, however, rarely played each other, as the only competition they both entered was the All-Winchestia Cup in which each team usually entered reserve squads. As Winchestia is still in the infant stages of international development, the Winchestia National Team consists soley of players from this league. The league is currently in it's 12th season.

The Clubs in the Winchestia Pro League also compete in the Winchestia Pro Cup
